Generations of planning took place in order to create this beautiful kitten....

 

I had a vision of taking one of my highest contrasted females here (Dahlia) and breeding her with my Blue Boy to hopefully get an extremely high contrast kitten, like Dahlia -  but that would carry blue and be a female.     Orchid is the result of this 2nd generation.    Tulip is the thrid Generation and now has this extreme contrast.

 

Tulip was so dark in the beginning that I really thought she was going to be a brown!  :)

 

 

She must be a very "zen" cat with all the praying that he's doing in these photos!  :)
